Online Ore: Firefox Add-Ons

May 24, 2010 by Aaron Rubman

This week’s vein of Online Ore can be found at https://addons.mozilla.org/

Firefox Add-Ons let you customize your experience using the Mozilla Firefox web browser.  From adding toolbars and artistic flourishes, to investigating code, to generating interactive utilities that allow you to keep informed on what’s going on in the wider world, one of the 5000+ Add-Ons designed for Firefox is bound to help.

This breadth of field is wonderful because everyone’s needs are different.  However, if you ever have any questions about which Add-ons to use to fit your requirements, we’d be glad to lend a hand.  As with Firefox itself, the Firefox Add-Ons are entirely free.

Our Account Representative, Scott Stiefvater, who is frequently on the road to meet with clients tells me,

I use the weather add-on.  It keeps me up to date on something I reference pretty often.  When I want to know the weather, there it is, in the bottom right hand of my browser.  Since I’m online so much, that’s useful.

Tell us which Firefox Add-Ons you use!

Online Ore is an ongoing feature at The Gold Mine featuring tools and resources from around the web and wider world. If you know a site we should prospect please e-mail Aaron Rubman at Marissa Berger Interactive.
