Finding Online Ore at the Gold Mine!
Apr 27, 2010 by Aaron Rubman
What is Online Ore?
Online Ore is a new feature here at the Gold Mine, and one that has us all fired up. Each week, on Monday morning we’ll be featuring a new site or service to improve the life or productivity of business owners or their employees.
Online or not, each of these nuggets is a tool that can be used to find value, joy, or efficiency, either inside the workplace or out of it.
So far we have featured
- Mint, a personal finance management site.
- Vimeo, a high-definition video sharing site.
- Bit.ly, a URL shortening service that fits links into short form social media.
- Groupon, a daily group discount finder.
And we know there are many other resources out there worth sharing, more than we could possibly find on our own. So if you know where there’s a promising vein of online ore, post a reply or send me an e-mail. We’d be more than happy to give you credit (and some link-love) for prospecting.
In the mean time, we’ll keep linking you to quality resources week after week. Or, if you’re the type who prefers up to the minute updates, you can follow every vein through the Online Ore Twitter List.

I think this is a great idea, a place where owners of website can gather in and put it to use.
Great deal
Hi Hugh!
I’m glad you like it. I look forward to hearing what online tools you find helpful.
